Duties:

They are looking for a high performing and experienced Business Development Manager to work with their Manchester based team and work autonomously to bring in new business:

  • Actively identifying, qualifying, managing and closing sales within business all over UK
  • Identify potential opportunities and leads through networking, cold-calling, upselling as well as leveraging existing relationships.
  • Schedule and conduct appointments with decision makers, and executive management.
  • Performing effective presentations and activities
  • Must have strong negotiating skills and be able to close sales directly with the potential clients.
  • Effectively educate and influence decision makers as part of the sales process for their telecommunications solution.
  • Complete sales agreements and submit orders for processing

 

Skills/Experience required:

  • At least 5-10 years strong B2B solution sales experience within the technology space.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Business minded and able to work in a small team as a proactive team player with a strong desire to excel.
  • Self-motivated and creative minded in terms of how to generate sales
  • Quick learner and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong presentation skills and able to present technology services in way that it is easy to understand for the client
  • Create presentations and high-level proposals
  • Experience using a CRM (such as Salesforce)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of cloud telecommunication & emerging marketing technologies
  • Business Development experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Experience with leading sales teams and creating sales functions within a team.
