Senior Backend Developer

London

£50k-£65k per annum

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Backend Developer to join an exciting technology company.

They are an ambitious team looking to expand and in search for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join their exciting team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability and proficient with JavaScript. It would be a bonus if you have worked with NodeJS.

Tech stack

• NodeJS
• Express / Seneca
• RethinkDB / PostgreSQL
• Redis
• Heroku

Responsibilities

• Working on a range of different projects from websites, apps and SaaS solutions
• Taking concepts from prototype to go-live, shaping future developments and design.
• Design scalable product architecture and building systems and services
• Work within a team to create a fantastic end-product
• Ensure ongoing quality of their products
• Have your say on new technological solutions and how they can improve performance.

Skills/Qualification Requirements

• 3+ years working in a software development related position
• Strong experience with JavaScript and worked with it in a working environment
• Experience with a JSON based doc storage i.e. MongoDB, ElasticSearch
• Worked with multiple projects in the past

Bonus

• NodeJS experience in a working environment
• Experience with AWS/Heroku
• Have an active GitHub profile
• JS testing experience
• Worked in a start-up/app environment
• Worked with SaaS products
