DevOps Engineer (Mid-Senior)

London

£50k-£80k per annum (Dependent on experience)

Brilliant opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an exciting technology company.

They are an ambitious team looking to expand and in search for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their exciting team. The ideal candidate will have a DevOps background currently or previously.

Responsibilities

• Architect a system for high availability, security and scalability
• Automated provisioning, scaling of infrastructure and deployment
• Create an alerting and checking system for services
• Handle the AWS infrastructure
• Assist the operations of their product development across several geographies and AWS regions

Tech stack:

Python, Django, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Microservices, Docker, RabbitMQ, Celery, Fabric, CI/CD, AWS

Skills/Qualification Requirements

• Experience with Linux/Unix Administration
• Able to research and use a variety of open source technologies and cloud services
• Strong experience with AWS
• Experience with automation and config management utilising Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible and/or equivalent
• Experience using CI/CD for the build and maintenance of products to allow engineers to deploy code right through to production
• Knowledge of code ideally Python or Golang, Ruby, Bash
• Knowledge of IT operations and best practices
• Great communicator with both technical and non-technical people
