DevOps Engineer (Mid-Senior)

London

Between £60k-£75k per annum (Dependent on experience)

Brilliant opportunity for experienced DevOps Engineers to join an exciting technology company.

They are an ambitious team looking to expand and in search for DevOps Engineers with experience in deploying and maintaining server software/systems to join their exciting team. The ideal candidate will have a DevOps background currently or previously.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop all tools, they use Kubernetes
• Architect a system for high availability, security and scalability
• Automated provisioning, scaling of infrastructure and deployment
• Deployment of Docker containers and develop the tools that manage the continuous delivery process
• Create an alerting and checking system for services
• Assist the operations of their product development across several geographies

Tech stack:

NodeJS, Go, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS

Skills/Qualification Requirements

• Good experience with languages such as Node, Python, Ruby, C++, Go
• Understanding of PostgreSQL and current best practices
• Good experience with Docker
• Good understanding of Linux Administration
• Knowledge on current version control tools i.e Git
• Experience with cryptography
• Knowledge on shell scripting and command line tools
• Experience using CI/CD for the build and maintenance of products to allow engineers to deploy code right through to production

Bonus 

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Deployment using Concourse
• AWS experience
