Senior Software Engineer - London - Permanent

£60k-£75k per annum

Great opportunity for a driven Senior Software Developer to join an exciting technology company.

They're currently expanding their technical team and looking for a senior level developer who has experience with C++ or Python along with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Working in many different areas of development
• Working with cutting edge technology in their industry, providing software for end users
• Have your say in how code is written, structured and implemented
• Involved in all stages of development from design, through implementation to delivery and support
• Improve, support and maintain existing areas of the product
• Produce robust and maintainable code
• Contribute to the development of an automated testing systems to ensure integrity of code over time

Skills/Qualification Requirements

Essential

• Experience with C++ or Python
• Experience with Visual Studio
• Interest and understanding of the company
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Worked with a commercially released software product or equivalent.
• Experience working on all areas of the codebase.
• Background in high performance real-time systems.

Desirable:

• Experience with DirectX

Skills in any of the following areas would be a benefit:

• Networking
• Audio
• System architecture
• Automated testing and test driven development
• Gaming industry experience
• Media Server experience
