Immediate start - London - Cisco systems

• Provide 2nd level technical support for existing Networks
• Provide coaching and 2nd level support to the Helpdesk (external supplier)
• Manage escalated network incidents to provide timely resolution
• Provide solution design input for new solutions
• Provide technical support when required, engineers, helpdesk and customers
• Ability to liaise with Internal and External customers and suppliers at any level
• Ability to champion best practice within the unit through awareness of and adherence to process and procedures
• Provide Sales Support and design and Pricing of new solutions
• Provide Documentation, audit and management of infrastructure
• Assist with Budget planning, forecasting and performance against Budget

• Good communication skills and work well under pressure.
• Must be willing to take responsibility for incident resolution and drive to resolution.
• Implementation experience of networks and LAN configuration/design is essential.
• Server experience is also desirable.

• Problem solving, diagnosing, system design, documentation, planning, testing, and training
• Investigating and resolving broadband and router faults
• LAN WAN Design, Installation, and troubleshooting using packet capture analysis tools
• Cisco Router and some Firewall configuration
• Networks – IPStream and MPLS at a minimum
