My client is a worldwide data centre business leading in their field. They are now looking for a Data Centre Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance and improvement to the sites delivery, working alongside the operations team and implementing strategies. You will be responsible for a team of 15 and budget control.
Duties:
- Work with the relevant operational leads to ensure that the service delivery across the full range of services is continually improving
- Contribute to the financial performance of the contract, specifically around operational efficiency and subcontract procurement
- Build and motivate effective and high performing teams
- Interpreting messages from the centre and where make necessary changes to operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services by analysis of the relevant data and where necessary carrying out audits to demonstrate compliance.
- Minimise both work in progress and debt levels and drive a positive cash contribution from the account
- Critical Environment experience is desirable with electrical or mechanical trade qualifications as a minimum. The post holder will preferably be qualified to HNC level in an appropriate technical discipline. The ability to manage a budget and interpret financial data is essential.
